Back in May when Rylynn was bumped to the 1A transplant list because of her condition, we were approached by the PR department at Children's about participating in a series they were working on. In the event that Ry received a transplant before August, they'd like to have permission to film a bit in order to be a part of a documentary series featuring her surgeon Dr. G. We agreed.
We have on several occassions been filmed and interviewed while here at the hospital. Since Ry has unfortunately not been transplanted I'm not sure how we'll fall into the story line. Seems like they've filmed a lot of footage, but who knows if we'll even have much of a part in it. I was worried that since we live out of the Dallas viewing area that we wouldn't get to see it, but guess what... I'll get to watch it right here in the room that some of the footage was actually shot! If you live in the dallas area, check it out this Wednesday.
WFAA 8 Wednesdays at 7:30pm CST 8/3, 8/10, 8/17, 8/31, 9/7
Below is a link to the promo video. Ry is in it! This footage was taken while we were admitted back in May. Don't you just love those big beautiful yellow play-do eyebrows! She's going to kill me one day if that's the only 2 seconds they include and she's wearing play-do eyebrows! :)

I just set it to record! I am so excited Rylynn was able to get out this weekend--and thank you for all of your updates. We are still praying!!
That is so precious! Rylynn, along with Mommy and Daddy, holds a special place in my prayers. I have family in the area and will be sending this out to them asking them to tune in.
Love ya'll,
Debbie Marquis
Precious is the only word!
Well, I personally adore the play-doh eyebrows! So glad she is adjusting more each day to her new "normal". We are here for you every step of the way. I know it's not the kind of "family time" that you would prefer, but try to find some pleasure in those moments of mommy-daddy-and-Ry time. She will never forget them, and neither will you! Big hugs!

I had seen the promo on YouTube about a week ago and saw Ry...I forgot to mention it in the email last week. I am hoping that since the facebook transport team page posted a link on youtube to the promo that they would have the episodes on you tube as well. i am looking forward to watching it if they do. She looks awesome with her play dough eye brows!
Hey Andrea and Gilley!
Just want you to know me and Jeff are praying everyday for little Rylynn and for her body to rest up for that angel heart that God is going to provide for her. Thanks for all the updates - we are always thinking of you guys and your strong little girl. All three of you have endured a great deal and we pray for continued strength for all of you. We hope that these prayers are a blessing to you - Hang in there and keep trusting in Him!
Love, Karen Carawan (San Antonio, TX)
That's so cool!!!!
(but, you're right, she'll probably kill you - ha ha)
Nanette ;)
Underneath those silly play-do eyebrows are the biggest, sweetest, most beautiful blue eyes a girl could hope for! Yup, she'll kill you, but that's what being a parent is ALL about...embarassing your children. ;-)) Glad to hear that she's getting to "travel" downstairs some and is getting in the groove with her PT. Bless her strong little sould that she's fighting through it! Go Rylynn! Love, Dusty&Cindy
Love those eyebrows!!

What a personality she must have. She will pretend to be mad. But there are worse pictures that could be shown....just ask our Cindy....I love bringing out those of her. Haven't done it in quite some time....maybe it is time again...haha
Keep the Faith.....Be strong you have an army of faithful praying for you all....Joey & Glenda Ranne
