I am not a great writer, I never have been. It's been brought to my attention that some of my posts contain many errors, both grammar and spelling errors. As you've followed the blog you can probably tell the posts that I have atleast read back through and those that I posted without even a proof-read.
I just wanted to say sorry...read at your own risk! :)

seriously, you don't need to apologize for that, ever - you have much more important things to be worrying about. Really.
Ummm... Who cares? The only way to avoid typos is not to write at all.
Really!?!?
Lisa
It cannot be easy to sit down and put what you are experiencing/feeling into words, happy or sad. As a follower of this blog, I am grateful for the thought and detail that you spend on your entries. I think that you have enough on your plate that you shouldn't stress over grammar and spelling. I believe that Mrs. Makal would understand.
Love,
Debbie
I don't even know you (I'm a friend of Jolie Gray's and an Aggie so between the two I FEEL like I know you). I also happen to be an English professor, and I haven't been looking at your grammar. In fact, I'd not noticed errors because I was reading to hear about your child, not to analyze your grammar. I know this is a weird one to comment on but I wanted to send a note of reassurance as a bunch of us are praying for you--we aren't here to look at your writing. I grade writing for a living and it's not bothering me. I don't get why anyone would stop to ANALYZE that in the middle of this. My concern is for your family. I am rejoicing with you for her miracle heart and have been praying she will have a long healthy life! BLESSINGS TO YOU!
Really who is being picky,....thank you for taking time to keep us all posted!!!!
Andrea, with the hours you've been keeping, I'm just amazed how much have shared with us. All of us are praying for your little family.
I received the most wonderful call from your mother. All she could say among our tears of joy was "We have a heart"!
May God continue to bless you all...

Mistakes? Who cares! Your cup runneth over and you deliver VERY important messages. All we care about is Rylynn, you and Gilly -- not your writing style. :) Keep up the great updates!
- Kimberly Spivey
We haven't even noticed! Just thankful for the updates of good news!
no risk here - except that we might get more great news on how wonderful Rylynn is doing - PLEASE keep the posts coming!!!!!!!
Those of us who care about Ry have never seen any mistakes in your posts. We're lucky that you have agreed to share this experience with us!
Who would say such a thing?! I have been reading your blog all along and I think you do a great job. We are so thrilled with the news about Rylynn's new heart and wish you all the best.

I already commented but think I did something wrong and lost it....so...
Never mind those critic's....the rest of us are just happy that you share with us ....it helps us to know some specifics to pray for you know HE said to ask for what you want.
The only grammar that is chalk board scratch to me is the use of ANT...my Mom told me when I was little that the ant fell into the bucket of paint and drown so not to use it anymore...so I ask then should I call my Aunt Joyce....Arn't Joyce....anyway have a Blessed Day and God Speed in
Rylan's recovery......God doesn't grade Grammar or Spelling...

Andrea, whoever is nitpicking needs to find something better to spend time on. If someone is judging you, especially in the circumstances you are living in, they need a swift kick in the pants. Good grief almighty as my mama would say! Thank you for taking the time to fill us all in on this very emotional and personal journey and feel free to misspell words on purpose just to get to those Negative Nancys!!! (that's what I would do...while giggling...)
Are you kidding? Most of us would have had a hard time writing a complete sentence much less one without errors.
Truly the Holy Spirit has been working through you during this time. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives. God bless you!
We are following every word in your blog and never once noticed a mistake. You are amazing to keep up with this in such a positive way being sleep deprived and emotionally drained. God bless all of you and especially Rylynn. One of the toughest little girls I have ever seen! Miracles really do happen!!! Please continue to post.
Our love to you all,
Monica & Michael Jahns
We are just so thankful that you would take the time to keep us posted! You are so amazing! Keeping up those prayers for little Rylynn!
Love,
Becca Halbgewachs
First of all, you need to tell us who bothered to point out you make mistakes in your post.
Yes, Andrea in addition to being a 100% attentive mother, faithful wife, caring daughter, loyal friend, nurse in training, believing Christian, warm hostess to family and guests, full time care giver of a special needs child, etc. etc. we also expect you to turn in a regular and grammatically perfect report whenever you make a post after a long day, under emotional duress, with five hours of sleep at 11:30 at night.
Please, please quit trying to be both Wonder Woman and Super Girl. We love you just the way you are and are so grateful that God loved Rylynn enough to assign you and Gilly as her parents to so beautifully see her through all of this.
Don't worry, you will have plenty of time to go back and correct all of these posts when you finally get her off to college. Blessings and good night!!!!
Just wanted to say..... CACCA rulz:).... So thought u needed this:). Love y'all.... Constant prayers and well wishes coming your way:)
Andrea.
You could be writing in French and it would not matter. The message is what's important and you have managed to put some really complicated and emotional thing into plan English so that everyone can keep up with sweet Rylynn's progress and that's what matters!
So happy that things are progressing. You will have that precious girl home before you know it.
Please don't hesitate if there is anything you need.
Loved the pictures of Rylynn and her tea set. Especially Gilly sitting having tea.
Hugs to all
Debby
Andrea... I surely hope no one said something to you about spelling and grammar on this wonderful blog...you are a great writer and have always been. Im sure when you live on very little sleep, in a hospital, and have a million other things on your mind its not easy to sit down and write. I appreciate every single post from the very begining of Rylynns life.
Who really gives a flip about grammer and spelling. If they don't have anything better to do than to critize the way you do you blog, then they don't have to read it! Unbelievable! We are blessed that you care enough about us to take your time to keep us informed! We love you and are praying for all of you! The Arldts!
You just keep writing and we'll keep reading and praying.
:)
Are ewe freaking kidding me?!?!? Please, please keep documenting this beautiful journey.....
I must be a bad reader because I think your writing style is beautiful. It is very difficult for most people to translate their thoughts and actions to "paper"; yet, you seem to do it effortlessly. That is a skill to be proud of and not apologizing about.
If you get another critical message, just send them my phone number. Just tell them it's a "complaint hotline"! Not sure how you are doing it, but we really appreciate all the wonderful updates. We were both in tears reading the first transplant update! Just simply amazing! - CC Colemans
The human mind can over look all spelling and grammer errors because we do not look at all the words when we are reading.
I am glad that you have taken the time out of your busy schedule to write these post, and who ever is giving you a hard time tell them to switch places with you for 2 days and see how their spelling and grammer is after your days and nights.
Please keep posting so we all know how things are going with Ry and her whole family.
Still praying...
Brenda
At this point, as has been mentioned, grammar is not an issue!! Thanks for the posts on precious Ry and continued prayers for success!!
SHAME SHAME on you if you are the one who made that comment to a precoius mom doing what ever she can to keep her baby alive and well! I am so grateful to have been a praying part of this journey and grateful for updates. I know most were posted in spite of fatigue, stress, panic, sadness .... and i so appreciate each new post.
Love and prayers, mike and beth ( jeremy's parents)
This made me laugh! It is so Martinkaish (the disclaimer)!!! And let me guess, one of your sisters was probably the one to point out the typos?????
You are amazing and are doing just fine!!
Elizabeth
seriously!? it's not EVEN an issue! we just love hearing from you and trust me, we know what you're trying to say!! (except for the medical jargin...we wouldn't know about that anyway.... :)
Love,
Nanette
Really!!! Someone has nothing better to do than analyze your grammar and spelling. How very sad for them. Have they completely missed the miracle unfolding before their eyes. Take their comments and put them where they belong, in the trash. Don't give another thought to someone who has no class at all. Belinda
If it was a sister then she gets a free pass for being family, and you can say stuff like that to family. If not, please tell me where to take my knife, 'cause I'll stab a b..... ;') Amanda (I thought you might need a laugh.) Still praying!!!!
