Chest Tube Placed

Ry just had a "pigtail" chest tube placed. Less than an hour later, 300mls have drained. There was still some question this morning about whether or not we should go ahead with it, but Gilly and I agreed it would be best for Ry to get the fluid off so that she could start feeling better. I know it will be painful for a couple of days, but the results should be worth it.
I just hope we see an improvement in her saturation levels soon.

Hi there,
You probably don't know me but I went to high school with Gilly. I've been following the blog since June and just wanted you all to know that we're praying for you.

That must have been a hard decision, but I believe it was the right one too. May the Lord continue to guide you and give you the wisdom and courage of all of your decisions.

To both Andrea & Gilly--
I hope you don't waste time doubting your decisions. Both Love and the Lord are guiding you and so you must lean on Him.
Prayer is more powerful than any of us can know. And, Rylynn--and you--her dear parents--are surrounded with petitions to our Lord. May you rest in Him; derive your strength from Him; & trust in Him.
There are angels which we are unaware of. They are attending to Rylynn in ways that you cannot. Rest in that.
Rest in HIM. Trust & Believe.

So glad to hear the fluid came off so quickly. That is great news! Praise the Lord - Ry must be feeling much better already - continued prayers for her and you both as she continues to heal and feel better soon. Still praying for that Angel heart too! God is faithful!

I saw your blog from a friends facebook asking for prayers for your little sweet angel. I have children of my own and I commend you for your strenght. I have started praying for your little one and I know and believe God will use your little miracle to show everyone how awesome and powerful he still is today. I know he loves you and your baby so much simply because I could feel it through myself and the love I have for you without even knowing you. I stand firm for your little one and believe without doubting that her ailment has been brought under the authority of the name of Jesus and all the negative affects of this in her body are being reversed.God bless I will be praying.

THere is power in confession my sweet friend. Speak over the circumstance with authority and faith. Don't let the enemy place fear in you to steal your joy. But rejoice because even though you dont(niether do I) understand the why's, we must just stand in faith that God is all knowing-but more than anything we are NOT alone. We also can operate in the authority we do have given to us by Jesus. Do not just accept the negative reports, but fight what is seen in the natural with the SUPERnatural. I know you have faith, I am encouraging you to be BOLD in your faith. What the enemy intends for harm, God can turn into good. You are, Gilly is, and Ry are children of the most POWERFUL, Loving GOD. Speak aloud with conviction you have victory, Ry is going to become stronger each day, and your family will come out the other side of this prevailing in the name of Jesus.
We pray for Ry everyday.
love- your sister in Jesus

Romans 10:8-10
Amplified Bible (AMP)

8 But what does it say? The Word (God's message in Christ) is near you, on your lips and in your heart; that is, the Word (the message, the basis and object) of faith which we preach,

9 Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.

Ephesians 6:
13Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].

14Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God,

15And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the [a]firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness [b]produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.
16Lift up over all the [covering] shield of [c]saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one].

17And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit [d]wields, which is the Word of God.

18Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people).
