I HATE PICC LINES!
I have kept it dry, clean and check it atleast four times (realistically about 8-10 times) per day, but that all does no good. We have something leaking that we can't figure out. We have to have it redressed for the third time in five days. I hate having to hold Rylynn down and press her face into my chest while she cries. With each redressing we risk infection and it just plain hurts.
I've even had to call the suppliers because of air bubbles in the line (which aren't supposed to be there) because they can cause a stroke. What if I had not seen them?? I am a nervous wreck about this whole thing.
I'm not a nurse, I don't want to be a nurse. I want to be mommy. Only mommy.

My heart breaks for you, Andrea! There will be many extra prayers said for your streangth! I know it's a pain to blog in this situation but thank you for keeping us updated so we can all keep praying!
