Rodeo Time!

This weekend we took Rylynn to the PRCA Rodeo that came to Waco. We usually go every year to the Austin rodeo so it was nice that she wouldn't have to miss out. Plus, we talked all week about how she'd get to see the baby cows, buckin' horses, and big bulls and she just couldn't wait! We did fail to mention that she'd see sheep and the mutton-bustin' was her favorite part! Well, it was either that or the Cheetos! I think it was kind of a close call, but the important thing is she had a great time! We never had to take her out, she loved all three hours of the event. I was so glad she got to see some livestock. Gilly has been bringing her videos on his iphone of the moo-cows and she always asks for more! It will be weird to have her away from the ranch for so long, but we'll do our best to keep her in tune with the animals and ranch life.
Thursday we head to Children's for our monthly check-up. This appointment will entail lab work and our meeting with the transplant team, but no major medical work. (Of course, I'm sure Rylynn would think differently since she's the one having the labs drawn on her.) Say a little prayer that things look good and hope she has gained a little weight. I'm doing all I can this week to get her to eat. It's all her favorite foods on the menu: cheese, sausage, rice, macaroni, and all her favorites.
I'll keep ya'll posted on the appointment.
With love . . .

Sweet girl...I am looking forward to meeting you guys soon and am so sad that life has been so busy as to keep us from meeting.
We will be praying for your visit and hoping that scale gives a nice plump number due to all those yummy foods:O) We are in the same boat and even resorted to Cheeto's for breakfast :OP

We're thinking about you guys and praying all the time. We'll be in Waco in a few weeks for Hays to meet some of my grandfather's friends, so if y'all need anything when we head that way, tell Gilly to let Josh know. Take care!
